For the past two years, I've been working on a creative building game.

It has mentally sustained me; it's fun -- even exhilarating -- to build your own thing.

Financially, so far I'm out two years of earnings plus a few thousand in business expenses.

"Practical" -- as if art needed to be practical :P

But seriously, there might be. Applications that people pointed out to us at Makerfaire include:
- Sketching out an art gallery
- Sketching out a studio
- Sketching out a film or theatre set
- Sketching out real estate

Teaching architecture fits in that list. We're not going to be telling anyone they aren't allowed to use our app for these things, it's just not going to be our focus in the short term.

The educational direction we're pursuing right now is to let students design in our app, then print on the school 3d printers (schools have 3d printers!).
