Anyone walking through the common room would be hard-pressed to miss Penny, seated in a chair with a notebook in her lap and a borrowed mobile (she's not sure whose) to her ear. Her expression is enough to tip anyone off to her obvious frustration, but if it wasn't enough, there's the frantic tapping on her notebook with a pen to show it as well.

Penny’s back in the common room, although considerably more relaxed now. Her second week in the Conrad has been considerably more enjoyable than her first and she almost looks like she's accepted that she's not going to be able to return home.
