It seems that Season 6, THE FINAL SEASON of "Downton Abbey," is airing now in the UK.  And I'm wondering just how Lord Fellowes is going to bring The Honorable Evelyn Napier back into Lady Mary's life, because I'm convnced that he's the right match for her -- at least from a screenwriting point of view.  You heard it here. :)

Pleased to see South Africa and the world celebrating the life of one of the most admirable humans ever to have walked our Earth, Nelson Mandela.  May his legacy inspire forever.

Kinda loved this assessment from the good nerds at xkcd of the morning after the Curiosity rover landed on Mars earlier this week; I've got nothing to be excused from these days, really, but I sure was excited about those pictures.

I've recently finished John Green's The Fault in Our Stars, and will join the many who sing its praises.  Geez, that guy has a way with dialogue and characters.  I simply must visit Amsterdam now, where I will think very fondly of the dinner scene while I wander the waterfront.  Drinking stars, indeed.
