My dad was a very talented artist, but he didn't always want recognition. Some of his early works are signed with either "A.A. Amir" or "I.S. Skivar." An Elderly Moment
I picked up some new glasses today. As a birthday gift, Mom paid for them. I was showing her the new ones, she looked through them and said that something was funny with them.
Turns out she doesn't wear bifocals. I do-

My mom and I are having words. Since Dad passed I've been making her doctor appointments, accompanying her to them, and doing whatever followup (making appointments with specialists, etc,) that is necessary. There are very few things I'm really fussy about. I shop for clothes at Target, Marshalls or a thrift shop. With regards to other products, I look for no animal testing, and local farms/sources. -

When we lived in a small Pennsylvania town, my father and I were in the local community players-mostly the doctors and their wives that Dad worked with.

Having some sense of order in my life-The last few months have been stressful but things are evening out. I'm not going to be spending every Saturday with my mom as I have been-she's okay with me taking one Saturday off a month.
