Writer's Block: The Last Time I Surprised Someone Else
This wasn't the last time, but it is the best-
My dad was a very talented artist, but he didn't always want recognition. Some of his early works are signed with either "A.A. Amir" or "I.S. Skivar." These are names out of an old Boy Scout campfire song. I found the entire lyrics to that song some time ago and gave them to him. He seemed pleased, and later I caught him reading the words over, with a very kind smile on his face.
