Awesomeness- thanks for running this again this year!
And to everyone else: Hi there! I'm Dmitri, and I run Tormented Artifacts. I actually make a pretty wide range of stuff for sale, so let me cover some basics:
First and foremost, I do leathercrafting- both in the form of masks, and also a bunch of different leather accessories. Here's some samples (just click on any of the pictures to go get a larger view):
I know some peeps!boomstickNovember 28 2011, 19:27:33 UTC
My friend Kristen has a shop called Jewels of Avalon. She sells lovely handmade jewelry. She's on disability so this is the most she can do.
My friend Jana makes awesome bone art and pendants. I own three of her necklaces already. She only uses what she finds - no animals are in any way harmed.
A friend, an independent lady doing cool things.gfrancieNovember 28 2011, 19:42:30 UTC
My friend Jasie does cool things with fabric. here is her shop. She re-purposes fabric (so yay for recycling) and creates all manner of items. Dryer Sachets, (which after original use can be put in one's drawers to make things smell nice) soft baby cubes, (which is kind of groovy as a parent when you want to avoid the whole made from China, whole lotta plastic thing and it is an open-ended play kind of toy which is awesome for a child's development) quilts, and garlands. Fabric. Feel it. Love it.
On a personal note, her aromatherapy/heating pads have been a life-saver when my back was a complete and utter wreck. Also she can do custom-order items. She made teeny/tiny little quilts/pillows for the dollhouse my kids play with.
Okay, first of all there is my made things etsy store. Past the cheap shrinky-dink things you will find quality handmade books. Also they are nifty.
I also have an etsy store for used books. Some of these you can cut up to make your own art. Update blitz this week!
Penguin Tees is links to all my cafe press stores. Most are my designs. One is my brother's drawing, and it is the best. Also check out the "I heart Homos" stuff, as I try to put that logo on EVERYTHING.
Last is my ebay auctions. There won't be anything up until tomorrow morning, but check it out for used books that aren't "vintage" and stuff (once again) to make art with. And sometimes I have movies and music.
