A Shift in Tone

In order to make sure that I win, I’ll be adapting my journal/listserv slightly. Yes, I’m still going to have my writing exercises and things I’ve simply shat onto the computer because they were in my head.

I do that car thing too. A new OCD habit I've developed is whenever I hear the door open in any of my classes, I assume it's some kid with an AK-47 coming to shoot up the school

Poisonous blowing leaves just returned to my head after a fifteen-year hiatus. And remind me to tell you about why finger-painting can TASTE MY BALLS!

And the strange thing is - for all the crazy you have - in the small larp time that I've known you (in person and on the lists) you've seem to be the most put together and sane.

Don't worry about the voices. I hear them too. I understand about the car thing too.

God, finally somebody with irrational compulsive paranoias that overwhelm their life.

But yeah, acting like you're not freaking the fuck out all the time tends to improve your acting skills a lot throughout life.

As for LARPstuffs, I hates Teh Dramahs, so I might have seemed a bit more together as a result. :D

I want to know why Sarah calls you Flick.

I also want you to know and acknowledge that, fucked up though you may be, you are also very adventurous, kind, and brave.

that is all. this time.

That's very kind of you.
Remind me, when you remind me again tomorrow about the letter, to mention Flick in the first entry.

I think you need a fan club... a witty Ben quote. I'll make buttons, or maybe stickers?

Your brain seems sort of like my brain. My brain is constant, horrible chatter.

Seconded on all counts. Although instead of buttons for the fan club, I was thinking an FWMA where we draw our versions of Ben's brain. For those of us who have never met the man, it should be interesting.

Ben and your brain, what do you think?

Everything.
All of the above.

But allow me more time to explain-the-brain before you start.
or make a "First impression" one, then another later...

No buttons for Ben. Only one thing will do: scratch-n-sniff tattoos.

I would say that we'd need more time to research flavors other than blood, but conveniently, we're talking about Ben sTone here.

Three is (!) the Best Number Ever. livenud October 18 2005, 02:17:03 UTC
Ah, OCD is great. I vacillate between threes and fives. When I'm in a bathroom with a tiled floor, I make patterns of fives. I used to have to click my tongue against my teeth five times before I could open my mouth to speak (life was a lot quieter then.) It was cramping my style, so I decided it would be ok if I just tapped my fingers five times instead. I tap fives with my fingers on every surface imaginable ( ... )

Sorry, last thought. I wonder if more people are OCD in odd numbers than even... do you know?

As I'll discuss Thursday, I believe that everybody is a little Obsessive and/or a little Compulsive.

But people really freak the fuck out when I tell them that EVERYTHING I DO is done in multiples of three. And that I can't hit the brake on an off-ramp until the speed gets below a certain mark on the speedometer with my foot off the gas. And why Young benjamin thought that the tips of leaves were poisoned.

but, yeah, three rocks my balls.
