While I Was Out

Vacation was fun. However, I have fallen behind on everything. I’m nearly caught up on Entertainment Weekly issues thanks to riding the bus. But there’s no way I would be able to finish my book club book for this month before Saturday’s meeting - which I can’t go to anyway. I’m slowly catching up on TWoP (still haven’t ventured in to the ( Read more... )

Welcome home! Aside from being behind on communications (heh!), how was your trip? How did the Captain survive? How did you survive? As for Dr. Horrible, it was the best $4 I ever spent in iTunes. Surely you can spare $4 for it?

The trip was wonderful! I do plan to write about it. The Captain was awesome and we had tons of fun.

I went ahead and acquired Dr. Horrible last night so I can watch it tonight. Heh.

Actually, along the Dr. Horrible line --- I guess they will be releasing it on DVD eventually, and supposedly they're mixing the soundtrack for release as well.

I'm glad I found a rerun on Monday because there's no way I'd be able to watch an early showing tonight. I'm gonna miss at least half as it is with this new earlier timeslot - I put the boy to bed then! No loss on the SG front? What was the challenge?

I am so glad you are back. Never leave again, work is unbearable.

Heh. Well, considering that I have a ridiculously small amount of vacation time left to get me through the year, I think you're safe. If my speculation is correct, however, you'll have to endure my leave next year!

Welcome home! Hope the trip was fun. (I gave up on the Motivator thread ages ago; I think I'm at least 2000 pages behind.)

I am looking forward to hearing what you think of Hellboy!

I quit the Motivator thread all the time and always end up coming back to it. Sure there's a lot of juvenile "hawtness" to wade through. But it's totally worth it for the funny that sneaks in! I'm addicted to making Facebook flair, too, so it's not surprising.

I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to see Hellboy this weekend now that the mister has a bachelor party to go to as well as my aunt being in town...

I think I hit a 20-page stretch of people trying to prove that their show had the nicest blue eyes of any fandom. And then there was a towel "guh" war. I loved the original thread, though, where more people used actual motivator (or demotivator) captions. I'll have to dip back in.

It is totally unreasonable for all these family members to get in the way of your Hellboy watching experience.
