You definitely aren't missing out if you decide to skip this particular disaster of a comic continuation. I mean, yeah. Wow. What is the point of having Angel be human? Doesn't that completely go against the whole vampire-with-a-soul angst of his existence? Oh great, now he's going to be whining about want to be a vamp again so he can defeat the powers of eeeevil blah blah blah.
The volume I had checked out ended on the "cliffhanger" of ghost Wesley seeing crazy-ass Illyria again for the first time and of course she changed her appearance into sweet Fred. Ugh. I returned the second volume unread. I don't have time for that garbage.
