What do you think of my bonnet shape? I haven't sewn the crown to the brim, so it's still changeable, but I'd like opinions. Does the brim look funny? Are the proportions right? Is the crown height too in between? Like it needs to be taller or shorter? I'm thinking about taking a bit of the brim off the back, it kinda hits my neck when I look ( Read more... )

I finally have a dressform!  Her name is Miss Ella of course.  I'm so excited that I can finally drape patterns and make fitting adjustments on my own!  I had yesterday off for Veterans day, so I spent part of the day working on draping a pattern for a Spencer to wear with a new day dress I plan to make.  I think a group of costumers out here are ( Read more... )
