I really like their house, which makes me happy because often I don't like other people's houses -- they're too cluttery or too dirty or too dark or the neighborhood feels packed in like sardines and psychically noisy.

So much this! I am very non-cluttery, for lack of a real word, and find it claustrophobic to be in a cluttered house. No judgement from me with someone having a cluttered house, it's just not my thing.

My house is full of things, so I don't think it is non-cluttery, but most things have a home that they mostly stay in. I don't like for surfaces to be cluttered up. My dislike of clutter is mainly when things are disorganized or not where they 'belong' in my head.

Oh, all of my things have their place and if they aren't in use then that is where they are. Exception being my puzzle table...because it's full of an in-progress puzzle!
