I always love when you post these because it's interesting to see how the people in your life weave themselves in and out of the strands of the story. I want to say transient, but I don't think that's quite the right word. It's also interesting to see how the cast of characters change in any one person's life. Books and films make it seem like we have one tribe, and once we find them, they're the people we're supposed to stick with forever, but I think a lot of the people--even those who mean so much to us--are intended to be in our stories for a season so that they can play their parts (and we can play ours) before moving on to a different story.

I'm sorry to hear about Gabe. I remember how much you've cared for him back when I first started reading your journal--which was right before you were getting married--and how that's been a sustained theme. It's so hard to see people you want the best for choose paths that you feel aren't beneficial for them.

I'm truly very honoured to have you in my life. I love you very much and I'm so happy we had the chance to meet back in September. Your presence is amazing.

Later on this year... my lady and I will come over and you can show us the things and the people that matter to you in Georgia. Very excited about this :) Also, it'd be fucking fantastic if we could go to a concert together!!! Ahhh!

I don't always comment but I sure love reading your entries. You have such a way with words. I love how much you love your friends. I can't wait to get to know you more when we visit in the fall. And yes I would LOVE to find a concert to go to with all of you!

I love this entry! What a great way to make outsiders feel like insiders to your life and all the people in it. Also, we do need to hang out one on one! And create create create. Jewelry, art, magic, you name it, we'll do it. :)
