Wow you have been busy!!
I can't understand Mastodon - I don't like how compartmentalised it is so you have to join so many different bits and they aren't even easy to move around between. I'm waiting for people to join Bluesky, since it's the closest thing I've found so far to how Xitter works. I can offer you a code as soon as I have one, if you're interested. There are a few fandom folks on there already so I'm hoping it will gradually expand into a nice little community.

Heh, this was done over several months, but yeah, it's a lot if you see it all together!

I look at the Mastodon fediverse as mail addresses: we all chose different servers depending on what rules we like and we can still communicate to each other from our own spaces. I understand Bluesky wants to connect to the same fediverse protocol in the future, just like Threads (from Instagram) - if that's true we don't all have to be on the same social platform to still be able to see each other on our joint timelines.

I still think a journal space is the best for fandom, but I fear a lot of people have moved on from that format.

Yeah, I'd be so happy to have something everyone thought was acceptable in the same format as LJ. DW didn't ever manage to get all LJ's functionality, and I think you're right, most people moved away from journaling to soundbites. Hey ho.
