Give me a pairing and a title reminiscent of the sillier
Harlequin titles (I recommend checking Harlequin Presents, Romance, Historical Undone, and Silhouette Special Edition for ideas. Especially Presents), and I will drabble you something very silly.

The thought of Ozai turning such a peaceful expression on him while awake slips wistfully through his mind. Hakoda snorts and buries the sudden ache in his chest under ice. There is no love lost between the Fire Nation and the Water Tribe, and more than one fool has met their death in trusting the beauty of Fire.
"Time to wake up," he says roughly, reaching out to cup the lordling's face.
The touch of skin-to-skin is electrifying, sizzling-
In more ways than one, as Ozai snaps awake with lightning on his fingertips.
Taming this one would at least be fun, Hakoda has to admit.

In the three years since with his charge, Jee has come to the conclusion that he was more or less right. Zuko is arrogant enough for three nobles and used to doing whatever he wants-
But from what he's gleaned of the boy's family-life, that's more because his uncle is the only member of the royal family who gives a ratroach's hind leg if the prince lives or dies.
Iroh isn't around when Prince Zuko comes stumbling back bloody.
"Prince Zuko," Jee says with a scowl as he cuts the young man out of his dark clothes. He's not going to ask why the boy is dressed like a sneak-thief. He's supposed to be spying for his Lord Father. His looks are very Fire, but he can pass for a second-generation war-child. Easy enough to enlist with the Earth Kingdom, claim he wanted revenge on the bastards who dishonored two generations of his female ancestors.
It was boring, predictably, but he gleaned a few interesting bits for the Fire Nation.
Then the Water Tribesmen came along. Just for a meeting, a discussion of tactics and strategy, how the savages could aid the Earth Kingdom. Something he wanted very badly to listen in on, because it could help his people so much.
Then Sokka came along. "Hey, your lieutenant says you're the best around here with a sword. Want to give me a demonstration ( ... )

Alak receives the assignment to take Miss Song shopping with surprising pleasure.
Long Feng's eyes narrow as the trainee saunters out of the room. His Dai Li should know better than to take a personal interest in his secretary. No matter that this one is a pretty young woman, and Alak is a handsome young man.
The minister absently smooths the furrows out of his stone desk.

Do I sense a wee bit of jealousy, Long Feng? It does not become you.

The young man always looks away first, though, and Zei sags in relief.
It's terribly disconcerting to be the object of such intensity.
