Give me a pairing and a title reminiscent of the sillier
Harlequin titles (I recommend checking Harlequin Presents, Romance, Historical Undone, and Silhouette Special Edition for ideas. Especially Presents), and I will drabble you something very silly.
MEME IS CLOSED.
Zuko is not sure about this.
He's not sure about the way a glance from the Water Tribesman makes his blood race, the way his smile makes Zuko's heart pound, the way the barest brush of his fingers makes his skin feel scorched.
He's not sure what he's doing here anymore.
He's supposed to be spying for his Lord Father. His looks are very Fire, but he can pass for a second-generation war-child. Easy enough to enlist with the Earth Kingdom, claim he wanted revenge on the bastards who dishonored two generations of his female ancestors.
It was boring, predictably, but he gleaned a few interesting bits for the Fire Nation.
Then the Water Tribesmen came along. Just for a meeting, a discussion of tactics and strategy, how the savages could aid the Earth Kingdom. Something he wanted very badly to listen in on, because it could help his people so much.
Then Sokka came along. "Hey, your lieutenant says you're the best around here with a sword. Want to give me a demonstration?"
And nothing has been the same since.
