This could have been longer, too. But probably not by much.

the last two episodes of Madoka Magica are still sitting in my folder waiting for me to watch it so I'm skipping the part about the finale.

on other things, I'm entirely enjoying the anime season now. I'm currently downloading 9 series and it's a tough job following all of them especially that I am downloading them all from different fansub groups.

I really liked the pilot episode of C so I suggest that you try that one out. It's really interesting and I hope it's going to be good. I like Tiger and Bunny so far with the exception of what you mentioned so far since I'm also worried that it doesn't have an overshadowing plot other than the heroes saving the day and I still think that what they did to sponsor the anime was awesome. Sket Dance seemed fun but it reminds me of Ookami-san. I still have to watch the pilot of Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko. Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai (what a long title) is good too but for a drama-ish series, I'd still go for Hanasaku Iroha.

I know the feeling--I had to pounce on the episodes as soon as I saw them because I just knew I would be spoiled for Madoka Magica otherwise!

I can't say this season has been ~*magic*~ for me yet, but it's definitely shaping up to be a solid one with a lot of really good shows. I've been curious about C, so that one is definitely going to be the next one I watch, I think! And I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who feels that way about Tiger & Bunny so far, because I really am enjoying it a lot, just that it needs a little something more if it's going to stand out from the rest of the really solid group of shows this year. It's doubly frustrating because the potential for something really awesome is there, it just... isn't, so far.

I've heard good things about Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai on the Star Crossed Anime Blog, so I'm going to snag that one soon, too. I'm curious to know what you'll think of Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko because I looked at the basic summary for it and was like, "....another ( ... )

This season's definitely better than the last one though, a lot more choices for a wider audience, I think. Though I have to say Puella Magi Madoka Magica was seriously genre-defying.

There's only two episodes so far for C. I haven't seen the second one yet since Nutbladder hasn't released theirs and I don't like gg that much even they are super speedy subbers. I'd stick with Tiger and Bunny anyway and I really hope it would improve and fill in the things they are lacking very, very soon. Also, I really like the OBB of Tiger and Bunny. :3

Yeah, Denpa Onna sounds a little like Arakawa Under the Bridge. X3 I tried watching it this morning but it had a slow start so I had to postpone it. Will try re-watching it before I go to sleep.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I felt, too! Last season had Madoka Magica, but I can't even recall anything else I liked from the season. (Aside from maybe Kimi ni Todoke, but that was a continuation.) Oh, and maybe Level E. Everything else I was intrigued by either fizzled (like Beelzebub's anime) or never seemed to catch much buzz (Infinite Stratos or Fractale). And, honestly, I had to go look up a Winter 2011 chart even just to remember that much ( ... )

I had the evil sheep breeding error too. And I definitely don't have 100 sheep. I'm trying to be patient and wait for it to be fixed since I've basically been neutered when it comes to sheep breeding but it was so hard up until today...

But now we've got pig breeding so at least I got to use my potions finally! I was stuck at 50 potions for the last few days, wasting time when I could be using them and getting more... It pissed me off so much.

And damn, you should have hit me up for a polka dotted ram! Well, when I could still have bred sheep. I would have totally given you one! I thought about offering but thought it might be weird since we aren't even neighbors/friends on FB.

You know what gets me jealous with the trees? The Easter Egg one. I want one so badly but no matter how many Mystery Seedlings I grow up, I can never get it. I do have a decent number of crack willows and oaks so maybe that balances it out?

I'm back to having the evil sheep error this morning now, too. orz Well, a different one this time--the option to breed the sheep when I click on them in my pen is grayed out and I can't breed anything. But I'm assuming that's another thing that'll get fixed eventually.

I would have gone nuts if I'd have 50 potions and couldn't collect any more! I think I was sitting at about 30 before I was finally able to breed again, but the ~70 bottles I had was really frustrating ( ... )

Hey, I've friended strangers before for neighbors -- you at least I know somewhatish. And I was exactly the same way -- I thought maybe you wouldn't want to friend me because I played under my own name, like it was too serious of a connection to be made for people who only know each other because of fannish interests ( ... )

Not at all! I'm not even playing under my own name (but one I made up on a stupid pun) so it doesn't matter to me at all, I just know that personal lines are different for everyone, so I didn't want to push. I AM DELIGHTED ABOUT THIS and I totally just sent you a friend request (this is me here) and if you ever have anything I can do in return, please let me know, because it would make me feel a lot better when I totally cling to your ankles and whine for a pig. >_ ( ... )

Omg, I kinda love this season's anime lineup XD

I'm watching lots of anime this season. Tiger and Bunny, SKET Dance, Nichijou, Hanasaku Iroha, Denpa Onna Seishun Otoko, C, Deadman Wonderland, Ao no Exorcist, Yondemasuyo, Azazel-san, X-Men... And a few others I've downloaded but have yet watched thus all jdorama's is currently abandoned for the time being ^^;;;... But I'll wait a few more episodes before I write down anything, but for first impressions, all stated above is not quite bad XD

I have a few more on the KIV list, but none of them quite as anticipated as the ones I'm currently watching XDD

I can't say that this season has been stellar, precisely, but it certainly has been good and there's a lot of variety of good shows, which is sometimes more fun than anything. I think I'm watching probably 10 different shows this season and genuinely curious to see how they turn out--that's got to be kind of a record!

(Though, I don't think I've heard of Azazel-san or Yondemasuyo, now you've made me curious....)

Ah, Yondemasuyo, Azazel-san(Someone's calling you, Azazel) is the full title of the anime XDD I's just a very funny, slapstick 15 minutes anime, so yeah, it does not take too much out of your time XDD

It's probably the least important part of the episode but I could not stop thinking about that Fate was totally ripping off the Final Destination movies...

You're definitely not the only one, that was one of the first things I read in the AV Club's review of the episode, if that makes you feel better? And it's not just me, right? It was really kind of a "blah" episode with occasional moments of good?

It was kind of meh? Like it could have been awesome but just kind of wasn't? I mean, yay for bringing Ellen back but then to have her do absolutely nothing? What's the point?

And speaking of lackluster, did you watch the next episode yet?
