This could have been longer, too. But probably not by much.

the last two episodes of Madoka Magica are still sitting in my folder waiting for me to watch it so I'm skipping the part about the finale.

on other things, I'm entirely enjoying the anime season now. I'm currently downloading 9 series and it's a tough job following all of them especially that I am downloading them all from different fansub groups.

I really liked the pilot episode of C so I suggest that you try that one out. It's really interesting and I hope it's going to be good. I like Tiger and Bunny so far with the exception of what you mentioned so far since I'm also worried that it doesn't have an overshadowing plot other than the heroes saving the day and I still think that what they did to sponsor the anime was awesome. Sket Dance seemed fun but it reminds me of Ookami-san. I still have to watch the pilot of Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko. Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai (what a long title) is good too but for a drama-ish series, I'd still go for Hanasaku Iroha.

I know the feeling--I had to pounce on the episodes as soon as I saw them because I just knew I would be spoiled for Madoka Magica otherwise!

I can't say this season has been ~*magic*~ for me yet, but it's definitely shaping up to be a solid one with a lot of really good shows. I've been curious about C, so that one is definitely going to be the next one I watch, I think! And I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who feels that way about Tiger & Bunny so far, because I really am enjoying it a lot, just that it needs a little something more if it's going to stand out from the rest of the really solid group of shows this year. It's doubly frustrating because the potential for something really awesome is there, it just... isn't, so far.

I've heard good things about Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai on the Star Crossed Anime Blog, so I'm going to snag that one soon, too. I'm curious to know what you'll think of Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko because I looked at the basic summary for it and was like, "....another ( ... )

This season's definitely better than the last one though, a lot more choices for a wider audience, I think. Though I have to say Puella Magi Madoka Magica was seriously genre-defying.

There's only two episodes so far for C. I haven't seen the second one yet since Nutbladder hasn't released theirs and I don't like gg that much even they are super speedy subbers. I'd stick with Tiger and Bunny anyway and I really hope it would improve and fill in the things they are lacking very, very soon. Also, I really like the OBB of Tiger and Bunny. :3

Yeah, Denpa Onna sounds a little like Arakawa Under the Bridge. X3 I tried watching it this morning but it had a slow start so I had to postpone it. Will try re-watching it before I go to sleep.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I felt, too! Last season had Madoka Magica, but I can't even recall anything else I liked from the season. (Aside from maybe Kimi ni Todoke, but that was a continuation.) Oh, and maybe Level E. Everything else I was intrigued by either fizzled (like Beelzebub's anime) or never seemed to catch much buzz (Infinite Stratos or Fractale). And, honestly, I had to go look up a Winter 2011 chart even just to remember that much ( ... )

I tried to watch Fractale last season but I gave up watching the first episode but still downloaded the entire series only to delete them all afterwards. XD I'm still watching Beelzebub though. I also watched Hourou Musuko because it's a noitaminA series.

I'm not really sure but I was so used with Nutbladder because they subbed both seasons of Arakawa under the Bridge. Last time I downloaded from gg was probably Canaan and that was like ages ago. And it's probably also because gg doesn't really pick up the ones I'm interested in.

I'll be sure to watch it later and tell you about it tomorrow. I'm currently re-watching K-On!! season 2. :))

I meant to watch it, then there was some kerfluffle about the episodes being leaked and it sounded like it might be getting pulled or whatever and it wasn't getting good enough reviews for me to put up with following all that. (I have weird standards, I know. XD) How is Beelzebub? I heard they tamed it down a lot from the manga? And Hourou Musuko? I've heard a lot of good about that one.

.....I will not ask about K-On!!, I will not ask about K-On!!, I will not ask about K-On!!, I have enough to watch already, I will not ask about K-On!!.....

Beelzebub is cute but quite repetitive. I'm afraid that it might turn into a long anime series (like Bleach, Naruto, etc) because I can't keep up with something with too many files. D: Hourou Musuko has really pretty art but as for the story, it's kind of bland, at least in my opinion.

OOH K-ON!!

I'm not sure what they're going to do with Beelzebub--the manga is only a little over 100 chapters so far, so it's not like they have a ton of stuff to catch up on and it is a series in the same vein of Naruto and Bleach and so on. Are they just going to have it be a limited amount of episodes? Or are they going to have a ton of filler?

NOOOOO, I'M NOT LISTENING--!!

you're right but I think that this will be a 26-episode series rather than the usual 13.

I sort of hope it is--I can't imagine that much filler for Beelzebub. orz

Just finished uploading and posting Puella Magi Madoka Magica at this community I volunteer uploading for. Let's hope more people will join us in that emotional roller coaster of an anime. XD

I might be persuaded to try another drama-ish anime, the one named Under the Innocent Sky. I'm such a sucker for pretty art. *____*

I hope so! Though, I'm already pleased at the size of fandom--most series don't get anywhere near this level of attention or discussion or fanart being thrown around. There might not be as much of a fic presence, but there's a really excellent tumblr presence for it. *___*

a;sdlkfj I don't think I've ever heard of that one, either!

I have watched Denpa Onna and it's not really like Arakawa after all. It's a lot less funny and I'm still having a hard time understanding what it's all about so I'll still give it a chance for a few more episodes. The art on the alien girl is beautiful though.
