Not at all! I'm not even playing under my own name (but one I made up on a stupid pun) so it doesn't matter to me at all, I just know that personal lines are different for everyone, so I didn't want to push. I AM DELIGHTED ABOUT THIS and I totally just sent you a friend request (this is me here) and if you ever have anything I can do in return, please let me know, because it would make me feel a lot better when I totally cling to your ankles and whine for a pig. >_>

I still can't breed right now (and I'm back to having, like, 32 potions, because I thought, oh!, I can breed now, I'll just start grabbing everything again!) but I'm hoping that Zynga being aware of it means they'll fix it soon. How long have you been having the problem? For me it's only been a couple of days and I'm willing to wait a bit, since they've been rolling so much stuff out lately.

(I'm seriously waiting for when we'll be able to breed cows, because I can't imagine that's not coming soon.)

I read on the blog that you'd get a free boar if you already had a pig pen fully built--WHICH I DO--but last time I logged in, they gave me an unbuilt pigpen anyway and I haven't seen a boar show up. And I got rid of the second pig pen because I don't really want two of them, which makes me wonder if I've just screwed myself out of getting the boar I need? orz

Hmm...I don't know about the free boar thing since I had both my pigpens fully built. Also, you can exchange your pig slops for potions -- I got 20 free potions out of it since one was totally full and the other not (I did truffles last night and didn't refill it yet...such a missed opportunity! T_T).

But if you need a boar, that's something I can do a lot easier than a specific color. I think it's because I've given away all my purple pigs and haven't kept any for myself so I can't guarantee a specific color yet. But I can do green, whenever I get enough potions so even if you did screw yourself, I'll can get a green one over to you. It doesn't have any patterns so it's really you're just getting the color.

I've been having the sheep problem for just over two days. The last time I was able to breed a sheep was Wednesday afternoon but I didn't try again until Thursday morning. Seriously, I was about to go insane until the sheep breeding came up. It's not so much the loss of sheep since I share them more often than not, it was the lost potions that pissed me off. Here I was trying to get to 50 potions for a massive sheep breeding fest, and bam, as soon as I did, I couldn't breed at all. It was like fate was conspiring against me.

I'm wondering if the breeding system isn't glitching right now--since I'd used up all my potions at the time, I set two sheep to just take the full 24 hours without love potions and, ever since then, I haven't been able to breed anything else, despite that my sheep pen is full upgraded. It's the only thing I can think of and the timing was awfully coincidental. I guess I'll see in about 14 hours then.

THAT IS ALWAYS HOW IT GOES WITH ME--whenever something is broken for awhile, I go crazy because I can't breed sheep or whatever, then it's fixed and, oh, whew, okay, I'll get back to that when I have time now that it's fix. THEN IT BREAKS AGAIN and I'm like WHYYYYYYYY DIDN'T I DO IT WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE? (On the other hand, at least it's motivated me to get back to working hardest on the seedlings, so I can get those last few trees I'm missing.)

And I don't mind about the lack of pattern or anything! (Have they even released patterns yet?) I'm just anxious to start tinkering around with the system and so I would love any kind of boar at all! *___*♥

The last sheep I bred was with two potions, I think. I was at 47 and I wanted to ask for more potions so I used two to get me down to 47. I ended up getting a sheep out of it, shared it, and then tried to breed more sheep since I finally hit 50 and it wouldn't work. I thought maybe it was the whole 50 potions aspect of it -- a number you're not supposed to hit or something like that.

The purple boar has some spots on its back that I think is its pattern (like with the Ossabow pig). I've only been able to breed one with pattern out of the three that I kept and from what I've seen of other people adopting and growing my pigs, most of them don't have the pattern either. :\

Did you notice you can craft Love Potions now? I knew they were talking about it but I didn't know it would happen so fast! Now, if only I had the materials and I wasn't already crafting at my limit...and the fact that it also takes 12 hours to craft.

Well, it seems that I was right about my problem--despite that my sheep pen is fully upgraded, if I had one sheep in the first stall, I couldn't breed anything else, not even on my EC. But once that breeding was done, I could breed others just fine. orz

....12 hours to craft a Love Potion? Do you get just one or does leveling up the recipe affect it in any way? Because if it's just 1 potion every 12 hours, I'd rather depend on just asking for/getting them off the newsfeed and keeping that table open for fuel goods, since I need those way more.

I see I can make bricks in my bakery on my home farm, too, now. Which always makes me laugh at how some of these things work--baking goods for building parts. Okay then!

By the way, are there any trees in particular that you're looking for? I know the Spring Egg one (and, I'm assuming, that Wedding Tree one that was finally released) but you said you missed a couple back in March, I think?

Wedding tree? Really?! I haven't even gotten the Spring Egg one yet! And I did miss a few in March but since then I've gotten them. I thought I was mostly caught up but now it's two trees that I haven't gotten yet. :\

It made me laugh too -- I can make nails in my winery and that makes even less sense.

I have no idea if we get more Love Potions with leveling up the potions since I'm still trying to grow field beans for the recipe. I do know that buying other people's love potions, it doubles as both love potion and as fuel so I assume as we level up, it'll also cover more plots as fuel. But the time to make it is really a bitch.

I'm having a new problem with my sheep breeding -- I can only use one stall in my Home farm and two in EC. At this point, I just have no idea what's happening...

I saw the scam post going around for the wedding tree, so I didn't believe it at first, either, but I guess they finally put it out for real and oh man do I ever WANT IT. IT'S SO PRETTY. And I bet it would look really pretty next to the willow trees from the lucky penny well!

I didn't realize that we needed to grow specific crops for it, so I set up a new batch of 12-hour barley on my EC and filled up my tables (since I'm still trying to unlock the sixth table orz) and THEN realized that, oh, I should have been working towards making love potions instead. orz orz orz 12 hours is still a bit much for making it, but if it doubles as fuel and a love potion (probably it works the same way the gold bars did with the green rose crafting goods, I'm guessing?), I'm more likely to try it out.

That's pretty much the problem I was having! Except I could only use 1 stall at a time, no matter if I was on my home farm or the EC! So frustrating! But I'm hoping it's just a glitch while Zynga works out the bugs of the new pig breeding system. (*sigh* I suppose I'll have to build a pig farm on my EC then, which I was hoping to avoid, since I don't even like pigs that much.)

You haven't built a pigpen on your EC farm? Oh, well, that's probably why you haven't gotten a boar yet. I think they both have to be fully built up since I saw someone build one up yesterday and they were able share a boar with her neighbors (and now I've got two green boars).

I'm working on the sixth table too -- only three more recipes! But the lower level ones are so much easier to level up so I'm hoping the Love Potions would put me over for it. All I need are those damned field beans and they just take forever to grow...
