Hello! I've been a silent stalker on your journal for a while now and I have to say, I think it was your continued gleeful fangirling posts and unrelenting good cheer with Arashi that dragged me kicking (and screaming a little) into the Arashi fandom. (I come from the NEWS and Kanjani8 fandoms...not that the former is very active right now.) Please keep posting your reactions! They're great for light reading and destressing.
I'm glad you liked the Music Lover's March performance! As a fan who's not watched the entirety of a concert yet, I was quite taken with the entire deal. Have you taken a good look at Jun's "homg i luv u guyz lotz" look throughout the entire performance? Seriously. He was in such a good mood, he was beaming the entire time. I suspect it's because K8 is celebrating their 5th anniversary since debuting as well, and Johnny's seems to like celebrating by fives.
Oh, hey, that makes a lot of sense! I'm only sort of baaarely on the fringes of the K8 fandom, so I don't keep up with them as well as I should, but this makes a lot of sense to me. I FULLY APPROVE, I think they're two great groups for getting them to work together, they would totally feed off each other's craziness, plus, anything that potentially gets Matsumoto and Nishikido (and Ninomiya) in the same room again, I AM ALL FOR. Also, HOLY SHIT YES to looking forward to The Quiz Show for Sho and Yoko, but also MAYA MIKI OMG. She is one of those actors I wish would have a drama EVERY SEASON ( ... )

Thank you for the warm welcome! I had to scream at least a little in despair when I realized I was stuck in this fandom; otherwise my soul would just shrivel up and die at the sequins and feather and mesh and animal print and pleather (I'm so, so sorry, TOKIO) and the utter lack of coherency that I've found myself immersed in.
To be honest, I'm glad I got started on this end of the fandom. I've seen some baby fangirls' posts and while I can say that I'd been one once, I am not one now and I am so glad I didn't know how to use the internet to propagate my bullshit when I was young. Music Lovers: Oh, god, Jun is so happy. I mean, obviously they're all happy and excited to be doing a live--they all really love doing the lives--but doing live shows makes Jun glow. It really has - god, if there's something silly going on in a concert or performance, 80% of the time it's Sho & Nino. The sad thing is that after watching 5 of those performances back to back, I'm starting to think the kicking and flailing at each other might be actual choreography...
