Gekiranger has totally eaten me, oh my god. .__.

*rubs eyes tiredly* You know, you wouldn't think that Sentai would be that draining, but it really kind of is. At least when you watch over a dozen episodes of it in a single day. I'm switching between Gekiranger and Dekaranger right now, because I love both a whole lot, but it's... it's definitely Gekiranger that has finally officially gotten ( Read more... )

Re: Gekiranger getting a fourth member--

There is an episode dedicated to dealing with the triangle --> square.

Gou will never, never win against Jan. :D

I'm not entirely opposed to the idea, just a little wary because I really liked the dynamic they already had.

On the other hand, GOU LOOKS PRETTY AWESOME SO FAR. XDDDD I imagine he'll get even more awesome after I properly get to know him.

I admit, Souda is one of the ones that I hope dies because he seems like he's still just as much of a slime now as he was back then. (And I'm fine with one more episode to get the affair storyline out of the way, but not much more than that. If it keeps going and going, I'm going to get less enthused with it, I suspect.)

But I'm wondering if we'll even get many more deaths if we're getting into the second half, where it's about exploring "what it means to be human". If they have Naruse unable to let this go as a part of being human, then I can see more deaths, but if it's a "learning to forgive" thing... well, I suppose we'll see soon enough. (as;lekfjaslj the Naruse/Shiori scenes were just so. So good and brilliantly done, I love Shiori's actress almost as much as I love Ohno.)

WHY NO MORE OT3 LOVE, FANDOM, WHY?! ;_______;I can only assume that it's because the fandom hates us and doesn't want us to be happy. I generally assume this is the reason for a lot of the way fandom writes Aiba, too. At least the show itself is ( ... )

I'm... not sure that that would be what MAOU is going for, especially since they've made a point about how Naruse wants to be stopped, Shiori has plainly said as much and Naruse himself has backed that up. And MAOU's not actually trying to be The Devil, it's retelling of the same basic story, so who knows how they'll twist the ending to their own version? I am at least hoping that SerizawaSr bites it by the end, though.

Arashi fandom is a lot bigger than it used to be, yeah, and it's not that I'm begrudging people the Ohmiya or the Aiba/Sho, more that... I'm begrudging them the crappy Ohmiya and Aiba/Sho fic. Seriously, you guys, a lot of that is just BAD. (Though, it feels like most of the people who write OT5/mixed pairings tend to not post on jent_fanfics as much. Not that I can say anything, I don't either. >__>)

It helps, I think, that Sho's learned to embrace his fail on purpose and is really comfortable with it, way more than a lot of others are with it. It's funny because he's not fail, because he's so smart and so ( ... )

I don't blame you. There's something about newsletters that will just fry your brain. It's the same with toku--I love it dearly (obviously), but after a few episodes, my brain starts to threaten mutiny.

VS ARASHI: Yeah, raw, so I'm sure I missed a lot of what was going on, but it was still fun. And... yeah, I can think of ways to potentially unbalance the rest of them, but Ohno... how would you even try?

MAOU: I found it interesting that we never actually saw Naruse interacting with the mob? I don't think we even got a phone call? It's possible that he routed it through a third party or that I'm just overthinking this, but. I was curious why the mobsters were like, "Oh, shit, this is bad!" when Ikehata dropped through the floor, like they didn't know they were playing right into Naruse's hands?

I loved that Naruse was the one who asked Naoto to figure out why, becuase a) Naoto would have come to that conclusion/question on his own eventually and b) Naruse wants Naoto to figure it out, wants him to chase after him into hell ( ... )

At least you didn't have to go through all the Vox accounts for stuff, that always crushed my soul. God, people, did you really have to embed five videos in every single post?

MAOU: That's the other thing that makes me think twice about Naruse being involved with the yakuza, because he's been so careful to avoid being directly involved with anything. He just gets the people into the same space at the same time and nudges them in the right way, he doesn't hold a gun to anyone's head. But if he actually gets involved with the yakuza... it makes me wonder if there's something more there we haven't seen or if it's a tenuous enough connection that they'll never be able to prove it.

I-- I really want to know when Naoto is going to find out, I really want to see what happens then! It's so hard to believe we're over halfway through already. .__ ( ... )

re: Deka
So THAT'S why he looked kinda familiar! I didn't recognize him without the bandana, I suppose. XD I-- I really am crap at recognizing a lot of actors, but I'll get better! XD

re: Geki
I definitely like all the sentai I've given a shot, I'll definitely finish them all at some point. But I needed something like Gekiranger to really hit me hard, to have that one series that was just. MY PEOPLE, I HAVE FOUND THEM. And ahahahaha that's just further proof that Rio-sama is AWESOME. XD

I've heard that Retsu's actor has a twin (and that he'll appear in a later episode) but... he's Momo in Tenimyu?? That's awesome! XDDDDD

I just saw Maou 6. And... OMG

Before all, it's the first episode I saw in HQ, and it's so much better *_*

When Naoto asked Naruse why he was linked to all this, and Naruse answered that the closest person to the murderer had to be Naoto himself, I thought (and almost said) OMG, did he just suggested that Naoto himself might be the murderer? Or any of the people close to him? Like, his father, for exemple? And Naoto may come to believe it, since he is now almost certain that his father don't hesitate to kill people to make them shut up. Which is kinda tragic, since said father tried his best not to have the journalist killed, maybe because he believed what Naoto told him about being used by the murderer; and that'd be the first time he'd trust his son!

And OMG FINALLY SOMEONED DIED AGAINXD Thanks, that made me laugh enough to release a bit of the tension this episode had built XD ( ... )

That's a really interesting point, how Naruse will bring up all these suspicions in Naoto and maybe make him look twice at the people around him. I don't think he'll suspect his dad because this case is obviously connected to Manaka Tomoo and SerizawaSr would have no reason to bring it up again. But that relationship is obviously fracturing more than ever and Naoto's suspicions of his motives will probably continue. Though, he may start looking at his friends, at his other family, maybe they felt guilty and tormented enough to do this? At least until Naoto hears the CD with Tomoo = Ryou ( ... )
