*rubs eyes tiredly* You know, you wouldn't think that Sentai would be that draining, but it really kind of is. At least when you watch over a dozen episodes of it in a single day. I'm switching between Gekiranger and Dekaranger right now, because I love both a whole lot, but it's... it's definitely Gekiranger that has finally officially gotten

At least you didn't have to go through all the Vox accounts for stuff, that always crushed my soul. God, people, did you really have to embed five videos in every single post?

MAOU: That's the other thing that makes me think twice about Naruse being involved with the yakuza, because he's been so careful to avoid being directly involved with anything. He just gets the people into the same space at the same time and nudges them in the right way, he doesn't hold a gun to anyone's head. But if he actually gets involved with the yakuza... it makes me wonder if there's something more there we haven't seen or if it's a tenuous enough connection that they'll never be able to prove it.

I-- I really want to know when Naoto is going to find out, I really want to see what happens then! It's so hard to believe we're over halfway through already. .__.

Dekaranger: *curious* Are there any canon couples in Deka? Because I sort of think that the show might be trying to get me to ship Doggie/Swan-san after episode 14, but I'm not sure I'm supposed to be taking it that seriously, either. And it's kind of... as;dflkjas YOU STOP IT RIGHT THERE, DEKARANGER, YOU STOP IT WITH THE PRINCESS-STYLE CARRYING AFTER HE RESCUES HER AND HER CALLING HIS NAME WHEN SHE'S IN TROUBLE. STOP IT RIGHT THIS SECOND.

MAOU: I don't really know much of anything about the Japanese legal system, but... how much could they really even pin Naruse with? He didn't make that guy kill the lawyer. He didn't make Sora's mother shoot Yousuke. He didn't make the guy run into a dangerous area. As things stand right now, I assume he could probably get off by pleading that he didn't actually do anything. Though, if they find the red envelops and manage to tie them to Naruse, that might be a different story.

Dekaranger: I-- I don't think I could stand fic for them and I really do not want to see makeouts or anything, but. The show does... kind of... seem to be going there? At least in a Mommy and Daddy sort of way that you're just not supposed to think about.

I haven't started watching the team ups yet, but I've snagged all the relevant ones! I plan to finish any given series before watching one, though, which hasn't quite happened yet. XD (I have the attention span of a fruit fly.) Though I've snagged the first however many episodes of Abaranger as well and OH MY GOD I'M NEVER GOING TO FINISH ALL THIS. :O

MAOU: It would be tricky, I suspect, because Naruse has covered his tracks well and even what little you could pin on him... it's kind of murky. Like with Sora-chan's mother, it's a legitimate self-defense situation, he gave her the gun to protect herself, unless they can prove that he knew about Yousuke's allergy? But I don't know much about Japanese law or how much you would need to actually prove there in order to convict someone--and I really doubt that jdramas are an accurate representation of Japanese law. XD

Dekaranger: It's... it's sort of killing me, because I sort of like the idea of them as a ship and I found Doggie kind of inappropriately hot during his episode, but it also makes my skin crawl because aslfkjaslkj FURRY. I kind of lean towards them because-- well, you're right, they can't really come out and say a lot because of their target audience. But this is also the show that kind of routinely has human people being lovers with batshit looking Alienizers, so. You know. Doggie/Swan-san isn't that far out there.

I think... I think I needed Geki to draw me into sentai properly, a bit like how Kabuto was for Kamen Rider with me. I lean more towards plotful, but once I have that one series of my heart, I can tear through more episodic series. (Because, after watching about nine episodes of Geki in one day, I went on to tear through four of Deka that same day.) I just... needed to get used to the genre first, I think. XD

asd;flkjasl;k seriously, my inability to get anything done anymore is totally your fault. (At least on the toku/sentai front, the Arashi front is really my own fault. XD)
