Couldn't sleep, so I dug into my ST tapes and happened upon the first DS9 encounter with the mirrorverse. Jude Law, Joseph Fiennes, and Rachel Weisz is a whole lot of pretty in one movie.

I enjoyed the hell out of Empire last night -- despite the stilted dialogue and Octavius' tediously emo angst -- because it's nearly perfectly cast and it just *looks* gorgeous. Also, swords! Intrigue! Main character who looks like a poor man's Eric Bana! (...what? I'm shallow.)

I have spent far too much time this afternoon playing games on this online Apple II/IIgs emulator. Original Oregon Trail! Horrible graphics! Eeeee!
