I really just love the Republican party. I do. I mean, how did they know it's always been my dream to live in the early 1900's? I am having a rough couple days.
I am sure that this, too, shall pass but right now it just feels like everyone I love is against me, doesn't trust me and thinks I'm an idiot.
Rationally, I know this is not true.
Emotionally, I just want people to be on my side. -

Best laid plans.
I had all these awesome plans to actually cook dinner tonight. Cook as in, go to a cookbook, find a new, possibly complicated new recipe and make it. Maybe something with more than just garlic powder as a spice. Maybe something that involves a microplane and zesting! Ok, so perhaps the title does not quite deserve the exclamation point, but still, I did manage to accomplish slightly more than nothing today!

Other than eating cookies, watching television and updating LJ with useless entries, I also did the critical job of updating my Netflix queue. Some things can't wait, you guys. It's all about priorities. -
