WOW! Life got busy in my little corner of the world, and I totally forgot about LJ! Bicycle stories - I have a couple, but I'll just share this one. It was Christmas morning, and I was 8 years old. I can't remember what other gifts I got that year, because it was the year I got my first bicycle. Recall a time when you mastered something. - Like what - This one is a tough one. I got my Associate's Degree in Business three years ago. I mastered Algebra! I could never understand it when I was in elementary and high school, and then I go back to college after 20 some odd years, and I "got it!" I really am proud of me for figuring it out. Ah, music. It can be uplifting, or not, as your mood strikes you. I love a good hard rock song if I'm feeling energetic. I might even use it to get me into feeling a bit more energetic while I'm cleaning house, or taking a long ride down the interstate.
