I Can Write, but I Can't Publish

I've been trying to post with Windows Live Writer, but it doesn't seem to be working.  I use it periodically with my Blogger blogs, and I know I've used it for this blog in the past - just not for a while.  I set everything up.  Everything looked good to go.  I wrote a post and hit Publish, and it acted like it was publishing.  But when it loaded

I've found that Live Writer, when I use it, is often a tad off in ye olde timing department. I liked being able to insta-link with it, but prefer Chrome or Firefox to IE8 and thus have stopped using it.

I'd say that's more than a tad off!

It works perfectly fine with Blogger, and even gives me options to choose when my post will publish. Since LiveJournal doesn't have the option to save drafts or schedule posts, Live Writer doesn't give any of those options when I'm posting here. I couldn't even find a place to check the time and date. The only reason I found the post was because Friend Feed sent it to facebook.

And I know I could change the date and move it now - but where's the fun in that?
