Why do they hire people with foreign accents to make phone calls offering whatever?  The rattle on and on, and they're speaking English I guess, but they might as well be speaking a foreign language for all I can understand.  The cadence, intonation, rhythm, everything is wrong, and I can't understand what it is they're trying to tell me.  A $200 ( Read more... )

When it's cold, you can't cover your mouth and nose - because your glasses will get all steamed up, and you won't be able to see anything.

We're getting close enough to the Feast that it seems mildly ridiculous that people are still filling out our form asking to be listed on feastgoer.org, our Feast of Tabernacles listing site.  Some of them may have just found us - and there are several groups that won't be celebrating the Feast until the end of October, so I'm sure they have their ( Read more... )

I am so frustrated right now I could just cry.
