Until now, libraries who purchased e-books from publisher HarperCollins have been able to check those books out to patrons an unlimited number of times.  Not any more.  Beginning March 7, those books will only be able to be checked out 26 times before the library's license expires.  Librarians everywhere are fuming, boycotting HarperCollins.

When it's cold, you can't cover your mouth and nose - because your glasses will get all steamed up, and you won't be able to see anything.

I've mentioned before how much I hate the way my shower/tub drain is designed. There's nothing to stop the hair from going down the drain, where it gets caught up and clogs things up.  The drain stopper is supposed to come off so you can get something down in there and pull the gunk out, but the screw that holds it in won't budge, so I can't get ( Read more... )

Since I'm usually not paying attention to the commercials, I'm not sure what the commercial is for.  I'm sure it's not cheese, though.

I saw this a while back on the news and Good Morning America.  It's the final lecture of Professor Randy Pausch.  No, I had never heard of him before, but, If you haven't seen this, you really should.  Really.
