Hello! It's been a long time since I've posted, but I've been reading all along. I've decided to break my posting fast with another invasive question

We have mixed leather/upholstery and while you can't see where Thunder's dug his claws in on the fabric, you can definitely see it on the leather. He always seems to bring up tiny strands of stuffing. I'd go with upholstery.
Thanks! He actually came in a pair with Lightning (who died many years back). Lightning was orange, Thunder is grey. I thought it was pretty brilliant at the time, but with only the one now, people don't get why he's named Thunder, and they assume it's because he's so noisy (which he is).
We just got new furniture, so we bought some Soft Claws to prevent scratching. They're working perfectly! You glue them on over her regular claws and they last for at least a month. I was doubtful, but so far (2 weeks) they've really worked.
P.S. I'm ready to start watching Doctor Who! We need another geeky NoVa summit!
Leather. The leather you're looking at is very thick and dyed through so you won't have the pulled stuffing problem even if she does scratch it and then spray the little bugger, you know you want to. Alternately, if you're getting a chair, get the chair in leather and the couch in fabric. Also, do you like to sleep on leather? Some don't. I do. The leather you're looking at isn't the sticky sort. It's more like the lovely sort, so not to worry on where-will-Moey-sleep. Having seen several episodes of Dr. Who, not necessarily by choice, I can assure you the doctor would get the leather. 9 clearly loved leather (see coat) and I think 10 probably does too.

Although we were able to untrain one of my sister's cats by hissing at it, the other definitely needed the bottle, lol.

D. Keep the old couch because it's really comfortable and where will Moey sleep when she visits to watch The Doctor?
You should think about what you want and also take in to consideration The Doctor. WWTDD? Seriously.
