Nope.

I have a huge bruise on my ass, about the size of a golf ball (a little bigger, actually) and I have no idea where it came from. It doesn't even hurt, but it looks painful, all green and purple. I wish I could say it came from doing something nasty, but sadly this is not the case.

There's no hot linguistic term of the day. (Damn!) Only my linguistics prof making her voice go all breathey to demonstrate what it sounds like because in some languages a breathy vowel will change the meaning of a word (much as tone will change the meaning of a word in Mandarin). Which was great, because in English, breathey voice means phone sex ( Read more... )

I love the Hip, but not usually for their lyrics. I appreciate that their lyrics are original and do not involve cliches like rhyming you/too, love/above, and when they do sing about cliche topics they put a different spin on them. 
I do not actually understand a lot of their songs. Sometimes that's just because they're referencing something ( Read more... )
