So I am a nerd and I've seen the new Harry Potter movie twice in less than 24 hours. But, happily, it stands up to repeat viewings, much more so than the last one. Some thoughts:

Even though it was incredibly condensed and moved way too fast, I liked that this director really put in a lot of extra effort to add details that didn't need to be there. ( Read more... )

I'm practicing writing with my left hand (I'm right-handed). When I used to see a massage therapist, he'd tell me to periodically switch what hand I was operating the mouse with when I was on the computer, in order to give my right shoulder a break. I need to learn how to do the nod of acknowledgment. I think it would be way cooler than going to wave at someone, realizing my hands are full so making to smile at them, realizing my mouth is full of food, and instead, grimacing. Luckily, that's actually what I did. I don't procrastinate on studying nearly as much as I do on writing papers. That is because studying is easier and I can knit while I study.
