Hurray for the Fourth of July! Actually, its not so great. I am really pleased that work has been really light this week. I mean, I knew Monday would be, but today is really nice too. I guess a lot of people are taking vacation this week.

I have to admit, spending my birthday at a Passover Seder was not ideal. Though, the seder was really nice. I hate valentine's day. Well, hate is a strong word. However, I do think its a stupid "holiday." I don't know what part I think is dumber, the social obligation to purchase expensive gifts to buy the love of the people around you, or the social obligation to grant sex for those gifts. So, Christmas was good. I think Alison really enjoyed it too. It's quite possible she's finally softening up on the whole Christmas thing. I can't blame her too much for hating it though.
