For the longest time I have had 30 minute lunches at work. I recently went (back) to having hour lunches. I miss my two fifteen minute breaks, but I have to same I am really digging the hour lunch. For many years as a young man I did not always wash my hands after going to the bathroom. I did so probably 1 in 4 times. Something like that. Thing is, it wasn't every time. I was thinking about my boy again (something very common.) He stood on his own the other day. Honest to goodness stood on his own. It was a weird even for us. We watched him do it. I'm reading Malcolm Gladwell's The Tipping Point. You may recognize that author as the guy who also wrote Blink. Both books are tremendously good, and they're kind of the same style as Freakonomics.
