Serenity (educate yourself here) came out today, currently rated at 8.4/10 on IMDB (3000 votes) and 83% on Rotten Tomatoes (80 reviewjfssssosdfk kds :D It's doing so well, I don't know if I feel more like an anxious mother or a gambler with a dark horse, but it's a good feeling.

I really hope I enjoy it.

Mysterious Skin cast a shadow over the rest of my day and I'm not sure why. Maybe I'm used to violence in the media and sex in the media, but mix the two together with an unflattering choice of actors for many minor characters, and it somehow punches a hole right through the reality filter to my brain.
