A sci-fi Western except also Chinese, enacted by corporate bad guys and a surly, sarcastic cast of 9 -- "people who were living in space who were more the fringe people, the people that the Enterprise would've blown right past." You don't have to have watched Firefly the TV series or to like Whedon's past tales of vampires and demon-slayers to rock out with the film.
~8 dollars that I will be ecstatic to spend.
