The dvd player on my surround sound system has died - it has been taken back to the retailer to be made better. Luckily the 360 works as a dvd player but I do miss the surround sound experience.

I now have a Flickr page user name chaosgerbil.

Think I will have to decide between picasa and flickr. Picasa is handy as I use it offline to download from my camera and can upload whole albums to the online site in one click. Maybe I will just use flickr for random pics.

Dr Who special 'planet of the dead' was excellent, some nice humour and teasers. The old woman said to him at the end 'you will knock 4 times' - didn't the Master knock 4 times in 'the sound of drums'? Somebody picked up the Masters ring at the end of those episodes. I'll lay good money on David Tennants 2 part xmas special including the Master.

A lot of my friends have been linking to the sad death of an innocent man at the G20 protests. While reading the articles I remembered a piece that jfs had written about Section 76 of the Counter Terrorism Act. The wording of the section is suitable open ended to make any sane person shudder.

The treatment I have is called a 'suprascaplar nerve block' sounds like a device to kill James Bond rather than a series of injections. Still feeling woosy and spacy. I think I fell asleep under the sedation :D

I am horribly hooked on Facebook Poker, gambling without losing real money is made of win :D

Meds changed again, the doc has put me back on morphine as tramadol was no longer having any effect. Back at hospital on Monday for another round of injections ( Read more... )
