The dvd player on my surround sound system has died - it has been taken back to the retailer to be made better. Luckily the 360 works as a dvd player but I do miss the surround sound experience.
In other electrical news we have ordered BT Vision 160gb hard drive, full pvr to pause live tv plus Setanta sports 1 free and other catchup/replay services. I do not have to choose between 2 films or programmes anymore I can record one and watch the other, there are also replays of premiership football matches for free so I may be wandering round with my fingers i my ears going lalala on a Saturday afternoon so I can watch the match on Sunday :D
The new car is all sorts of loveliness, the run to the airport down the M60 was very nice.
Lindsey is counting the weeks since we last went to the ice hockey - I can see season tickets in my crystal ball for next season all being well :D Lots of politics and name calling in the Elite hockey league, it may be a reduced league with teams bailing out to the EPL at worst it looked like being a 6 team Elite league for next season with Phoenix joining the EPL but most matters seem to be getting resolved - for an inspired and emotional read have a look at the Edinburgh Capitals owners statement on the EIHL.
