I have been sick for about a week. My usual winter - lungs filled with gunk, wish I were dead, asthma threatening to choke the life out of me nonsense. Woke up Sunday feeling much better, so am cautiously optimistic that I won't have a repeat of the month-long hacking fests that have always seemed to dominate my winters. So, I was starting to swear in French at home, to keep the toddler from blurting out anything offensive at school. guess who her new best friend at school is. Yup, you guessed it, a little French girl.

Cats and Christmas
So Olivia could be pregnant. The vet isn't certain, since the mushy lumps in the tummy could just be from her last litter. Apparently the uterus stays flabby and mushy for a while after birth. Three more pages written on my novel this morning, which is actually now shorter than it was before. Sigh. I was reading through it and realized that my prologue was too long and tried to do too much.
