Cats and Christmas

So Olivia could be pregnant. The vet isn't certain, since the mushy lumps in the tummy could just be from her last litter. Apparently the uterus stays flabby and mushy for a while after birth. Angela nad the vet (who has three of her own) exchanged rolled eyes and reminisced about their own pregnancies. (okay, bitched about them) Sometimes I am really glad that Angela had the baby and I get to raise her, rather than the other way around. :)

Matt's mom, of course, had another take on Olivia's condition and told me that it could be uterine cancer, since one of her cats died from that. That woman can find something depressing to say at a wedding. Wet blanket is a mild term. LOL She's really sweet and means well, she just can't be happy for any reason. I guess it's a sin or something.

So we might have a litter of kittens for Christmas, if one of them has mice, rats and three old toms, gathering around the cradle, bringing tuna and catnip, we'll know we're in trouble. Damn, I might have to draw that now.
