I went to the craft fair with Amy and Matt yesterday. Someone had crocheted pots with crocheted cacti in it. We watched a metallurgy/blacksmith teacher making metal plant leaves. Amy talked to a woman who had some very nice prints flowers and other things. It was nice work and we found out she did it all on a cheap $10 camera. That was pretty ( Read more... ) -

Saturday with Mom
Tomorrow I'm going to a show with my mom. We are going to the Matinee showing of the musical The Addams Family. It's receiving good reviews and I bet there will be tons of little kids at this one. Well, I'm not usually a crier during movies but man if I couldn't stop crying this afternoon.
I was watching Prayers for Bobby with Sigourney Weaver. You can find it on youtube. Here's part one.
It shows us how hurtful words of hate can be especially when disguised as love and spewing from the mouths of family members and people we trust. -
Update
It's a nice day today, full sun. I think I'm behind on garden work. I've been waiting for my bell pepper sprouts but they are taking forever to grow secondary leaves and grow bigger. Also, I think we have been over watering the papaya because the leaves were yellow and when I cut down on the watering some of the yellow began to turn more green ( Read more... ) -
