I may need to make myself some Love Live! icons. There is an event going on right now but I am saving my gems for the upcoming Maki event in August. Reading and work
Work has been very busy the past two weeks so I haven't been getting on the computer much. I spend 9 hours a day staring at a computer screen and by the time I get home I just want to veg. I got a job! It's a temporary job at my Dad's work, assisting in turnovers and stuff through the end of the year. Having an end date is so nice! I'm not sure when I start - this week or the next as I wasn't hired in time for the training class on Monday, but I'm sure I'll post about it later. I started a new quilt yesterday. It is made from Moda fabric's Strawberry Fields series. I need to go get some more fabric, but it is started.

I made Gumbo Ya Ya for dinner tonight, with cornbread. It was delicious! I hadn't planned on making dessert until I got the new issue of Southern Living in the mail today (I subscribe for recipes and to drool over pictures of gardens and porches) - there was a recipe in there for honey flan. Went to BB King last night, it was a good show all things considered, it was very short. It clocked in at just and hour and 10 minutes! He played about 6 songs, and talked to the audience a lot.
