Missed train blues
It's cold on the platform. But another train is coming. Out of the house finally. The piano(!) never arrived. I'm keeping it safe for Nicole as the movers can't get it into her apartment but they didn't show up.

Last night I volunteered at the Planned Parenthood benefit, Roe on the Rocks. Sold raffle tickets. Made new friends. So tired, but very satisfied. It was loads of fun.

i am so happy to be off from work today. i had plans to go to the brooklyn museum this weekend, but i ended up being busier than I expected, so I wanted to go today but it is closed! Sadness! I think I may go head over to Roots Cafe for some stumptown instead...but its actually like 40 minutes away on the subway to marc's old neighborhood in ( Read more... ) -
Tuesday
Oh how slowly the week goes by! At least my productivity is way up this week and I'm slowly but surely making my way through updating my students' files, emailing the appropriate folks when I notice errors, etc. It takes longer than I'd like but it is getting done. I'm responsible for almost 200 students now! I really shouldn't get discouraged. ( Read more... )
