The worst thing about having good beta readers is that they're always right.

I'll take it as a good thing that this has fewer than 100K views; that means there aren't nearly so many aspiring authors in the world as I feared.

Or maybe they get twenty seconds in, cringe in embarrassment, and don't share it with anyone because their friends all sound like the female critter.

AUGH, I HATE ENDINGS.

Really, I just suck at them. I tend to sort of peter off and just let the story stumble to a halt.

I really should do "rocks fall, everyone dies" sort of endings. At least then it's a definitive ending.

Wrote maybe 500 words over the weekend, and another 300 Monday night. The weekend stuff was a scene that I broke off in the middle of because it's going nowhere--I hate when that happens, but swimtech rightfully points out that sometimes you just have to "write it out of your system."
