It's a balance of plants that bloom early & late and those that have long & short blooming seasons
also I like vibrant colors ... can you tell?

My gardens tend to evolve ... put in the initial plantings and then add and move plants/paths/garden art as things change. That's what this was ... a large number of plants moved around to get a more pleasing look. The two big sages [purple and red] will be moving this fall.
