Conducting class has been going really well. I know that once if I get a job at even high school level, there won't be much nuance I can do with my ensemble kids unless I get a youth orchestra gig (and even then, maybe not). I might be able to find it at the university level, but I don't really want a doctorate. So now I'm considering a Master's ( Read more... )

Came back from the Southeast horn workshop this morning. Took the train down to Atlanta and stayed at Richard's brothers' apartment. I made the second round of the mock audition but wasn't able to get my comment sheets. I'll email Dr Hansen and see if she can send them to me.
