The funny thing is that these email problems are not new to email. I know MANY young girls who spend their teen years through... I don't know, thirty five? learning about these bounderies for talking.
Problems for women in the talking area (and it could be men, too, I just haven't met any): *Knowing when to pause and let the other person think of a response (as in realizing you're having a conversation and not a monologue). *Knowing what of the 8 million things running through your head are at all interesting to people around you and NOT saying the majority which are not interesting, helpful or relavent. *Reading body language that says "I can't talk right now" and shutting up finally. *Realizing that when you say bad things about someone even though it strokes your vanity somehow, it does real damage to said persons image.
I can point these things out because I have done them!!! In fact, still sometimes do them.
