I’m cancer- free. Biopsies from surgery showed clear margins and the tested lymph node came back negative.
Now I just have three weeks of radiation and the hard part is over.
I’m so thankful and so proud of my body for fighting and surviving this. -

I found out that I have breast cancer about six weeks ago. I had my first round of chemo 10days ago and will have five more, and then surgery. My prognosis is excellent - at first they thought it was just 11 millimeters so surgery and 4 rounds of chemo but then an MRI discovered it was 2x that, 28 millimeters. As I scroll through my Tumblr where I keep most of my day-to-day musings, happenings and thoughts these days,I’m marveling at what an easier year 2023 was. I was finally able to archive this journal, thank you to all of the suggestions! I fell asleep early and am awake now, so took a bit of time to read through old entries.
