I buy mine in cans and I boil it to obtain a milk jam (confiture de lait in french) which is wonderful to eat on toast or crepe or even in a cake.
I use it to make coco puddings too.

Oh, that sounds fabulous!:) Can you keep it in jar and in freezer or it has to be eaten now?

I keep it in the can, opening it and I use a plastic wrap to cover it. Anyway, it's so delicious that mine never last for long!

I'm a big fan of condensed milk. Here is a popular cookie recipe from where I'm at, that uses condensed milk.

Also, I have not tried but I was reading about boiling a can of condensed milk which is probably what tink_chan is talking about.

I've also used as a smoothie, mix in 1/2 can or more or less in with an avocado. It's an acquired taste but delish.

Lastly, I add some condensed milk to my espresso which sweetens it up just right. Many uses!

Enjoy! ^=^

I use it a lot just putting it on fresh strawberries...... also if you want to use it to actually bake something I know it is used for a desert called "postre de las 3 leches", I don't know if there is a recipie in english for that

Spanish is also fine, don't worry. And such a nice, simple recipe! Thanks a lot!:) Using it on strawberries, am i need to cook it first or just pour it?
