Where the Weekend Went
Friday: I intended to take Bernadette to the movies. The shows I wanted to see started at 7:30, 7:45, and 11:50. It was eight o'clock, and the folks who schedule moves are right bastards. We stayed in and drank wine instead.

Storm Journal
Friday: Collected berneen and went to Mikki's for Whovianism. Don't blink. Weather: yep, there was some.
Saturday: while I was showering, I realized that if I abandoned some semi-elaborate costuming plans, and instead use stuff I already had, berneen and I could go for a walk along the Potomac and not spend the day assembling costumes. I liked this plan a lot ( Read more... ) -

Friday: Was up until one in the morning, playing a boardgame about rural electification in China, therby simultaneously confirming myself to be very smart and kinda dumb.

Why things look good for Obama right now.
I read an article about why Obama is ahead in the polls. It wasn't a good article, so y'all get this post.
