*hugggggggggggg* ♥ I'm so glad the testing went well! And that's really nice that they let you keep the crystals with you; any kind of comfort you can find in a stressful situation, it's only right that they'd let you keep it at hand. (Unless it's something really massive, lol.)
And chips! Talk about well-earned! Too bad the traffic sucked, and that you had to wait so long. But, all things considered, it sounds like today was reasonably alright. :)
It went WAY better than I was expecting, and the test itself was fine, it was the prep that was the hard part. Still, all over now and I can relax. The chips were very good, but I burnt my mouth. I always do!
Having my crystals there helped, and so did the nurse who stayed close and keep asking how I was doing.
Unless it's something massive... *giggles* Reminds me of a cartoon I saw where a couple were talking about their baby's choice of comfort objects, and the husband's like "If it makes him happy, let him keep it" And the mom's all "But why did it have to be a wok?" and there's baby cuddling the Wok...
I'm so glad. *huggggggg* :) And that nurse sounds like she must've been really nice; that always makes a stressful situation much better.
Ouch! At least you enjoyed them, though. I think I'd rather burn my mouth on a plate of them than freeze my tongue for a full twenty-four hours on Dippin' Dots. ^.^
A wok! Oh, that's hilarious! Cartoon baby must love Chinese food, lol!
Must do. I cut the cartoon out and I've still got it somewhere, it was in a newspaper, but it tickled my funny bone so much I had to keep it, lol!
Yes, the nurse was a sweetie, but the Doctor was so nice and encouraging too. The treatment centre seems to have better staff than the main hospital, so I prefer it there.
I'm glad everything went well for you. *hugs* Trust me, doctors are never on time, not even if you're the first appointment of the day. It drives everyone crazy. >.<
That's great that everything looked good and the pain of the prep was worth it end the end. Now for rest for a week. Well, except for the fire, but rest for the rest of the time.
And the guy to service the mobility scooter, since he's coming today *rolls eyes*
From what I understood, there'd been problems with some earlier patients which put everyone behind (behind with looking at behinds, lol!
The test was easy compared to the prep, although it's disconcerting to be introduced to the tall, handsome doctor who's about to get up close and personal with your behind... They had to raise the bed really high for him!
I knew you could do it! YAY !!! so awful test is over and went well so nothing to worry about it! Mmmm traffic jams and waiting are such bad time-eaters!!! Chips and a sleep over with a friend, what else can you ask? I know I know, a Ianto nursing you back but I think Jack will not be that happy LOL.

I was certainly glad to be home, I was so tired, but I at least managed to get the posting done even if answering emails and comments was beyond me. Still feeling tired, but at least I can mostly relax today.
The actual test wasn't bad, but I don't ever want to have to do that kind of prep again!

I'm getting back into routine and trying to catch up on my sleep. I went to bed thinking of those salmon and hoping to dream about them, but I didn't, which was disappointing.

My mouth is a bit sore but it'll heal fast.

Maybe Jack would let me just borrow Ianto for an hour. I'd treat him really well... ;)

Traffic, rain and quite a long wait.
You are home, safe and sound. No need to go back out.
Even if you did not drink it all.
One less thing that it is not.
Chips and company not bad.

It will take a few days to get over it.
The prep sounds worse than the teat.
Answering e-mails can wait.
