Glad to be home with a reasonable night's sleep behind me!
The traffic was awful, came home in rush hour, which also accounts for the long wait for the taxi - it had to get through all the traffic to reach the hospital. Britain's in the grip of hurricane... Angus is it? Starts with an 'A' anyway. My area's better off than a lot, no flooding here at least, just a lot of rain.
And Yay! Definitely good news, shouldn't have to go through THAT again at least =)
Thank you, *hugs back* I'm glad it went so smoothly too. Eventually.
Yeah, the prep was definitely WAY worse than the test, which wasn't even particularly uncomfortable - though that may have been the pethidine...
Still feeling tired, and my hand is a bit tender where the needle was inserted, but aside from that I'm fine and planning on relaxing as much as possible today.
*hugs* yay, knew you could stick it out, and hooray for all the docs and nurses being so nice. Despite the dreary weather, it would have been nice to be able to head home knowing it was out of the way.
The car head and tail lights, and the traffic lights, were pretty in the dark and rain, lol!
Yes, so glad it's over and that the test itself went well. Now I can rest a while - at least until I get an appointment through for physiotherapy on my back. The doctors and nurses were lovely, though it's a bit disconcerting knowing that the tall, handsome male doctor is going to be staring at your bare butt shortly, lol! Made me want to ask why anyone would choose this particular field of medicine to specialise in... staring at assorted bare butts every day is hardly glamorous... o_O
True that. You said they were nice, but you neglected to mention they were good looking. That's a horse of a different colour and would definitely make the whole thing less unpleasant! Better a lush gent to look there than an old crone! ;)

Although getting to that point was an adventure I don't think anyone would have wished for!
